SEO Configuration

Yundera Docs (powered by Docusaurus) includes SEO features out of the box. This guide explains what is configured and how to customize it.

What is included by default

Structured data (JSON-LD)

The site automatically injects three types of Schema.org structured data:

SchemaPurpose
OrganizationIdentifies Yundera as the publisher (name, logo, social links)
WebSiteIdentifies the documentation site for Google's knowledge panel
FAQPageEnables FAQ rich results in Google Search (dropdown Q&A)

Sitemap

A sitemap.xml is generated automatically at build time. It includes all docs pages with last-modified dates.

robots.txt

A robots.txt file allows all crawlers and points to the sitemap:

User-agent: *
Allow: /

Sitemap: https://docusaurus-yunderateam.nsl.sh/sitemap.xml

Meta tags

Every page includes:

  • Open Graph tags (og:title, og:description, og:image, og:type)
  • Twitter Card tags (twitter:card, twitter:site)
  • Geo tags (geo.region, geo.placename)
  • Keywords meta tag
  • Theme color for mobile browsers

Per-page SEO

Each Markdown doc can override SEO fields in its frontmatter:

---
title: My Page Title
description: A clear description for search engines (155 characters recommended).
keywords: [keyword1, keyword2, keyword3]
image: /img/my-custom-social-card.png
---
  • title — becomes <title> and og:title
  • description — becomes <meta name="description"> and og:description
  • keywords — becomes <meta name="keywords">
  • image — becomes og:image for social sharing previews

FAQ rich results

The site includes a FAQPage structured data schema that enables Google to show FAQ dropdowns directly in search results. To add a new FAQ:

  1. Create a new doc in docs/faq/
  2. Add the question and answer in the Markdown file
  3. Add the same Q&A pair to the FAQPage schema in docusaurus.config.js
  4. Rebuild the site

Test your FAQ schema with Google's Rich Results Test.

Geo-targeting

The site includes geo meta tags for regional search optimization:

<meta name="geo.region" content="FR">
<meta name="geo.placename" content="France">
<meta name="content-language" content="en">

These help search engines understand the geographic relevance of the content.
