Open Source
Yundera is built on open-source software, and we contribute back to the ecosystem.
Our open-source projects
| Project | Description | Repository |
|---|---|---|
| Yundera App Store | Curated collection of self-hosted apps for the PCS | Yundera/AppStore |
| casaos-oidc-bridge | Bridge between CasaOS and OIDC for single sign-on | Yundera/casaos-oidc-bridge |
| AppShield | Authentication sidecar providing SSO for self-hosted apps | ghcr.io/yundera/appshield |
Built on open source
The Yundera PCS stack relies on established open-source projects:
- Docker — container runtime
- Caddy — automatic HTTPS reverse proxy
- WireGuard — encrypted tunneling
- CasaOS — the base for our dashboard and app management (Yundera maintains a custom fork)
- Authelia — authentication and authorization
Contributing
The easiest way to contribute is by adding an app to the App Store:
- Read the Developer Guide
- Follow the CONTRIBUTING.md
- Submit a pull request
We also welcome bug reports, documentation improvements, and feature suggestions via GitHub Issues on any of our repositories.
Community
We run monthly open-source tech meetups in Paris focused on self-hosting, co-organised with Electrocycle. These workshops cover practical self-hosting topics and are open to everyone.
